“To capture the beauty in the world around us.” That is what drew Jennifer to photography many years ago, and it is what continues to drive her passion in each image she captures today. “Photography provides us with the opportunity to freeze time and to study the image’s subject in a way that we usually don’t do in our everyday lives.”

Everyday life has gone through several transformations for Jennifer in the past few years. After graduating with honors from the University of Missouri with a degree in photojournalism, she went to work for Rich Clarkson and Associates (a photography and publishing company) in Denver. During her time there, she served as the Director of NCAA Photos and the Director of the Photography at the Summit Workshop and the Sports Photography Workshop. As opportunities arose within the company, she began working on various design projects for clients including: the Colorado Rockies Baseball Club, the Denver Broncos Football Club, the Cincinnati Reds Baseball Club and the Colorado Sports Hall of Fame.

In 2002, she began her own graphic design and production company while continuing to work on retainer for Rich Clarkson. Her skills in design and production are complemented by her technical knowledge, her appreciation for deadlines and budgets and her desire to meet the client’s goals.

Past projects have included: corporate identity/ logo and stationery design; postcards; calendars; catalogs; newsletters; print ads; and extensive PhotoShop work for various books and magazines.

She has also conducted photo research for numerous projects including a television commercial for Kodak, a photography exhibit featuring images of Martin Luther King, Jr., and the Civil Rights movement for the Cherry Creek Mall and centennial anniversary book for the National Collegiate Athletic Association.

All the while, Jennifer continued to photograph personal projects and explore new techniques in image capture. Her images can now be viewed online and are available for editorial and advertising use.
